OPAP

OPAP is Greece's leading gaming company. Founded in 1958 with PRO-PO, a football prediction game, it now organises football prediction games, numerical lotteries, sports betting, horse racing betting, scratch tickets, passive lotteries and instant-win games. The company operates through a large network of Greek retail outlets and through online channels.

The business rests on an exclusive licensing framework. OPAP holds exclusive licences for numerical lotteries, sports betting and horse racing in Greece, and operates within a regulated gaming environment in which responsible gaming is treated as an integral part of operations rather than an adjunct to them.

OPAP was listed on the Athens Exchange in 2001 and fully privatised in 2013. Its activities are concentrated in Greece. From January 2026 the company operates under the international Allwyn brand name.

Proceeds from OPAP's games have historically supported sport and its infrastructure in Greece; the scope of that contribution has since been broadened to culture and wider social initiatives.
