Lottomatica Group

Lottomatica Group S.p.A. is the first Italian operator in the legal gaming market authorized by the Customs and Monopoly Agency (ADM) and one of the major players in Europe. The company operates within Italy's regulated gaming framework across online gaming, sports betting retail, and gaming machines and venues, and reports managing gaming collection of €45 billion while contributing approximately €3 billion in annual tax revenue to the Italian state.

Its activities are organised in three segments: Online, covering sports betting and online gaming; Sports Franchise, covering sports betting and gaming through a retail network; and Gaming Franchise, covering amusement with prizes (AWP) machines and video lottery terminals, the direct management of gaming halls and proprietary AWPs. The group has expanded through acquisitions including GoldBet, Betflag, SKS365 and IGT's non-lotteries gaming activities in Italy, and now employs over 2,600 people directly, up from around 200 a decade ago.

Lottomatica Group has been listed on Euronext Milan of Borsa Italiana since May 2023 and is included in the FTSE MIB index. Over the past decade its EBITDA has grown from roughly €60 million to €856 million. The company is rated ESG Industry Top Rated by Morningstar Sustainalytics, ranking first worldwide in the Consumer Services industry and among 81 companies in the Casinos and Gaming sub-industry.
