ITM Power

ITM Power is a Sheffield-based designer and manufacturer of PEM electrolysers, the machines used to produce green hydrogen so that customers can decarbonise their operations. Founded in 2000, the company has spent 25 years on research, development and innovation in electrolyser stack technology, and describes itself as a high-volume manufacturer with the most advanced PEM electrolyser technology in the world. It was the first hydrogen-related company to list on the London Stock Exchange, in 2004, and remains a publicly listed business.

The company's product range is built on the TRIDENT stack platform, a PEM electrolyser stack platform that powers ITM's equipment. Among the plants it delivers is ALPHA 50, described as the world's first full-scope 50 MW green hydrogen plant. ITM sells into industrial gas, energy and utilities, and manufacturing, and its customers are international; Tokyo Gas in Japan is among them.
