InPost

InPost operates a network of over 40,000 automated parcel lockers and nearly 33,000 pick-up points across nine European countries, delivering 1.09bn parcels in 2024. Founded in 1999, it listed on Euronext Amsterdam in 2021.

InPost is a European out-of-home e-commerce enablement platform, founded in 1999 and led by chief executive Rafał Brzoska. The company operates a network of automated parcel machines (APMs) and pick-up drop-off (PUDO) points, providing an alternative to door-to-door courier delivery. It listed on Euronext Amsterdam in 2021, in one of Europe's largest initial public offerings that year.

The scale of the operation is substantial: InPost delivered 1.09bn parcels in 2024, a 22% increase on the previous year, with 98% of shipments arriving next-day. The network comprises more than 40,000 APMs and nearly 33,000 PUDO locations across nine European countries, including Poland, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and the Benelux markets. Poland remains the core market, with over 25,000 parcel lockers and more than 13m users of the InPost mobile application.

The group has grown through acquisition and product expansion. Mondial Relay, a delivery network covering France, Benelux and the Iberian Peninsula, extends the continental footprint; the purchase of Menzies Distribution has strengthened operations in the United Kingdom; and InPost Easy provides international parcel services across EU markets. This multi-jurisdictional structure spans several regulatory regimes, and the company's technology work covers parcel locker hardware, last-mile logistics systems and mobile application development.

Sustainability forms part of the operating model. InPost reports that deliveries to its parcel machines generate 98% lower carbon emissions than traditional door-to-door delivery.
