The Role

Fried Frank is recruiting a Fund Finance Associate at mid to senior level to join its Corporate Finance team in London.

The role provides an opportunity to advise leading financial institutions, investment funds and corporates on a wide range of complex financial transactions. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment alongside experienced finance lawyers and sophisticated clients.

The position is suited to an experienced finance lawyer who has developed strong technical skills and is looking to work on sophisticated fund finance and corporate finance transactions within an international law firm.

Key Responsibilities

The Fund Finance Associate will work with the Corporate Finance team on complex financial transactions for institutional and investment clients.

The role involves advising financial institutions, investment funds and corporates on financing matters and supporting transactions from structuring through to execution. The successful associate will work closely with partners, other lawyers and clients and will be expected to take responsibility appropriate to their level of experience.

The role may involve:

• Advising clients on fund finance and related financing transactions.

• Working on complex corporate finance matters.

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating transaction documentation.

• Working with leading financial institutions and investment funds.

• Managing aspects of transactions with increasing responsibility.

• Working with colleagues across the firm's international network where transactions have a cross-border element.

• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.

• Contributing to a collaborative Corporate Finance practice.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should have:

• Qualification as a solicitor in England and Wales.

• A qualification year between 2017 and 2024.
