Sodexo is a global provider of food services and facilities management, serving companies, hospitals, schools, universities and stadiums worldwide. The group employs more than 430,000 people, including 104,000 in the United States, and serves some 100m consumers a day across four operating environments: workplaces, learning environments, healthcare and senior facilities, and sports and leisure events.

Its operations are organised around two core offerings. Food Services delivers on-site food provision and sustainable food solutions to client sites, while Facilities Management provides comprehensive on-site services alongside them. The client base spans the corporate, education, healthcare, senior living and sports and leisure sectors, and the company's geographic presence is global, with a substantial United States footprint.

Sustainability is set out as a formal corporate commitment under the Better Tomorrow 2025 programme, which covers reduction of carbon footprint, food insecurity and food waste, the promotion of plant-based eating, and wider social impact.
