LVMH

LVMH is a luxury goods group formed in 1987, comprising 75 Maisons across wines and spirits, fashion and leather goods, cosmetics, watches and jewelry, and selective retailing, with operations in 80 countries.

LVMH is the world's leading luxury group, formed in 1987 from the merger of Moët Hennessy and Louis Vuitton. The group reported revenue of €84.7 billion in 2024 and operates in 80 countries. It comprises 75 Maisons, each of which retains its own identity and heritage under a decentralised structure led by Bernard Arnault, who has chaired the group since 1989.

The group organises its activities across five business segments: Wines & Spirits; Fashion & Leather Goods, which includes Louis Vuitton; Perfumes & Cosmetics; Watches & Jewelry; and Selective Retailing. Operations span vertical integration, craftsmanship and manufacturing, raw material sourcing and selective distribution, alongside product innovation and adherence to environmental and sustainability standards. The scale and cross-border nature of these activities, together with the governance of independently run Maisons, define the commercial environment in which the group operates.

LVMH states a commitment to the highest ethical, social and environmental standards, and to producing durable goods under its stated mission, "The Art of Crafting Dreams". The group describes its approach as combining respect for heritage with forward-thinking creativity across its portfolio.
