Kering is a global, family-led luxury group that nurtures and manages a portfolio of creative Houses spanning ready-to-wear, couture, leather goods, jewelry, eyewear and beauty. The group employed 44,000 people in 2025 and reported revenue of €14.7 billion. Its portfolio comprises 13 entities: 11 Houses - Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, McQueen, Brioni, Boucheron, Pomellato, DoDo, Qeelin and Ginori 1735 - together with the Kering Eyewear and Kering Beauté divisions. The group operates globally.
The Houses are managed as a portfolio within a single corporate group, combining group-level oversight with the creative autonomy of individual brands. Activities extend across design, manufacturing and distribution in the group's principal categories, from leather goods and couture to fine jewelry and eyewear.
Kering describes itself as family-led, with a name derived from the Breton word 'ker', meaning home or hearth. Its stated values are 'We care' - about brands, teams and the environment - 'We dare', referring to risk-taking and innovation, and 'We build', referring to sustainable, long-lasting growth. The group holds that the way things are done is as important as what is done, and emphasises the expertise of its people. The Kering Foundation, established in 2008, works to combat gender-based violence worldwide.
