Henkel is a German group headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany, with operations worldwide. Founded in 1876, the company employs approximately 50,000 people and marks 150 years of turning practical ideas into practical technologies. Its stated purpose is "Pioneers at heart for the good of generations".

The group operates through two divisions. Henkel Adhesive Technologies develops adhesive, sealing and coating technologies with customers across more than 800 industry segments, spanning packaging, construction, automotive and electronics. Henkel Consumer Brands covers hair-care, laundry and home-care products, with brands including Schwarzkopf, all, Snuggle, Dial and Purex. In 2025 the consumer division recorded sales of €9.677 billion, or 47% of total company sales, and accounted for 31% of Henkel employees.

Across both divisions, the company works in adhesives, industrial bonding, sealing, coating, digitalization, open innovation, sustainability, and research and development. The combination of an industrial technologies business serving more than 800 industry segments and a branded consumer portfolio sold internationally gives the group a broad commercial footprint in sectors from automotive and electronics to hair care, laundry care and home care.
