David Yurman

David Yurman is an American luxury jewellery house founded in 1980, known for its signature cable-motif designs, high jewellery, bridal pieces and timepieces.

David Yurman is an American luxury jewellery company founded in 1980 in New York City by the artist couple David Yurman, a sculptor, and Sybil Yurman, a painter. The firm designs and sells high jewellery, bridal pieces, timepieces and its signature cable-motif jewellery for men and women. It remains a family-led business, now run by the founders' son, Evan Yurman, and its identity rests on artistic craftsmanship and the twisted cable motif that has defined the brand since its introduction in 1983 as the Cable Collection.

The company's output is considerable. It produces more than 250 new designs a year across its collections, which include high jewellery, bridal jewellery and luxury watches sold through an authorised network. Its signature Cable Collection spans bracelets, rings, necklaces and earrings.

In commercial terms, David Yurman operates 49 wholly-owned retail stores in the United States and distributes through more than 300 authorised fine jewellery and timepiece locations worldwide. The business is positioned across the luxury jewellery, fine jewellery retail, timepieces, bridal jewellery and high jewellery segments, with its founding and principal market in the United States and an international reach through its authorised partners.
