Raspberry Pi

Raspberry Pi designs and manufactures low-cost Arm-based single-board and modular computers, microcontrollers and custom silicon in the UK, sold to users worldwide.

Raspberry Pi is a British computing company founded in 2012. It designs and manufactures high-performance, low-cost general-purpose computing platforms in the United Kingdom and sells them worldwide through a network of resellers, distributors and design partners. In the past decade it has sold more than 60 million computers.

The company's products span the computing stack: single-board and modular computers built on the Arm architecture and running Linux; the Raspberry Pi Pico and RP2 microcontroller family, based on Raspberry Pi's own silicon, for lower-power and real-time applications; Raspberry Pi OS, a Linux-based operating system; Raspberry Pi Imager, a utility for writing OS images to storage media; and software for remote access to Raspberry Pi devices. Its technical work covers Arm architecture computing, custom silicon design, embedded and low-power systems, and software development tools.

Raspberry Pi serves enthusiasts, engineers, educators, businesses and home users, and operates across the education, consumer and hobbyist electronics, industrial, embedded systems and engineering computing sectors. The company supports a global community of users and provides technical documentation and accompanying software for its customers, with an emphasis on accessible, low-cost computing for learning and personal projects.
