newcleo is a nuclear energy company founded in 2021 that develops advanced modular Generation IV lead-cooled fast reactors and proprietary mixed-oxide (MOX) fuel manufacturing. Its lead-cooled fast reactor (LFR) combines the intrinsic safety properties of lead, passive safety systems and atmospheric-pressure operation to supply electricity and high-temperature heat to industrial users. The company's fuel manufacturing capability uses reprocessed spent nuclear material and other recycled feedstocks, reducing reliance on newly mined uranium.
