EDP Renewables North America (EDPR NA) develops, constructs, owns and operates utility-scale renewable energy projects across the United States, Canada and Mexico. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, the company works across the full project lifecycle - including permitting, engineering, construction and the long-term ownership and operation of power plants - giving legal teams exposure to matters spanning regulatory approvals, land rights, construction and commercial contracting for wind, solar and energy storage assets.

Its portfolio comprises wind farms, solar parks and energy storage facilities, with more than 12,300 MW of operational renewable capacity and $17 billion in capital investment. EDPR NA ranks among the top five operators in the United States by operating renewable energy capacity and has more than two decades of renewable energy experience. The company employs more than 1,000 people.
