Trial and litigation boutique founded in 1993, with offices in Chicago and Denver, handling high-stakes and complex litigation for companies and individuals.

Bartlit Beck is a trial and litigation boutique founded in 1993 by Fred H. Bartlit Jr. together with partners Phil Beck, Skip Herman, Don Scott, Jim Palenchar and Mark Ferguson. The firm represents leading companies and individuals in high-stakes, complex litigation, with a practice spanning intellectual property, antitrust, product liability, class actions and corporate transactions. It has offices in Chicago and Denver and has operated for more than 30 years.

The firm's work is organised around small, experienced, dedicated teams and an emphasis on trial capability. Fee arrangements are success-based, designed to align the firm's interests with those of its clients. Recent matters include a $314m landmark class action verdict against Google and complete defence verdicts for Monsanto and Walgreens.

Bartlit Beck was named National Litigation Boutique of the Year by The American Lawyer in 2022 and Trial Firm of the Year by Benchmark Litigation in 2020. Its stated aim on founding was to change the way high-stakes litigation is conducted in the United States.
